Modules

If you have SimasyStarter:10 or SimasyBusiness you can add functionality to your website with Modules that let you add dynamic content to your web site much more easily.

If you need to keep your web site updated with News, it's much easier with the News module that automatically lists and archives News items. Just visit the News section of our web site to see how the News items are listed with links to the text of each News item and look at the mini list of the latest News items on our home page - and it's all done automatically!

Allow visitors to your website to subscribe to mailing lists and send them regular emails to keep them updated.

Add the Shopping Cart module onto other modules and sell products, pictures, services, etc through your website.

These are just some of the Modules that can be added to the powerful Simasy engine and there are more being developed, so if you have a requirement let us know:

  • Blog - The Blog module let you easily post messages onto your website whilst keeping them properly organised.

Module Blocks

Many Modules have Blocks that can be added to pages in the web site. For example, the News Module has a block that displays the latest News Headlines on a page. You'll find an example of the News block in the right-hand column of our Home page. It lists the latest five news items, automatically selected as we add News items.

The Control Panel also allows module-specific configuration. For example, content can be organised in categories and these categories can be managed from the Control Panel. Modules that contain description or summary text have the same WYSIWYG text editor as the Page Edit function.

*Please note, modules can be added to SimasyStarter:10 and SimasyBusiness. Shopping Cart and Mailer modules can only be added to SimasyBusiness.

There is a £100 setup fee for the Shopping Cart module if integration with a third party payment provider is required.
